Hello,
This is Evangelist Michael Hensley and this site is developed so that faith may be shared with you through my insight and experience in what is called the Scriptures by the revelation that I received from Jesus the Messiah.
It is from the Scriptures that I accepted the call that was laid upon my heart to fellowship with the living God described therein.
I understand, but do not ascribe to the religious norm commonly known in America. There are several key truths written in Scripture that I hold to dearly so that I myself do not slip from the calling that my Heavenly Father has laid upon my life to proclaim His word as a man that would sling seed out from his hand and continue to do the fundamental steps to receive his harvest.
We all need each other in this life. There is no such thing as Christianity without the assembly of the saints on a regular basis. Without accountability towards one another (a tool that God uses within the body of believers), the enemy sets out to pollute the mind toward anti social mannerisms that resist the truth and create schisms (divisions) within a body of believers.
There are many houses of faith throughout America that are home to good law abiding citizens. It is not the members who go to worship in these houses of faith that I do not agree with in certain areas of belief; for many are members blindly. It is their doctrines that do not reveal God, but rather theology (The rational and systematic study of religion and its influences and of the nature of religious held truth).
If you believe in 'The Chair', then preach 'the Chair' and all the attributes that surround 'The Chair'. Sit in that 'Chair' and invite others to sit in 'It' as well. And if there were a book written about that 'Chair', then read it and accept what is written of 'The Chair'. But if you do not agree with the writings, and believe in 'Another Chair'; reframe from trying to associate 'Another Chair' for 'The Chair'.
Now that sounds very silly, but that is how simple of an approach one needs to take toward the Bible.
Jesus is not hard to understand. People make Him hard to understand because they are talking when His words will do.
Theology is not needed in introducing Jesus to one in sin. Love is needed! The Holy Spirit can use fewer words to convict the heart of someone.
Our view of individual freedom would not coexist with those of biblical times. Individual freedom that is found in the Messiah is laden with power that produces fruit. It is not about 'you' when you as an individual surrenders the call of the Messiah. Your perspective changes toward the Kingdom of God. Faith is active and eternal.
Tired of your lot in this life? Then obtain a different life, one that is in the Messiah.
How?
"You must be born again"
- Jesus
How would one go about being born again?
Go to the teaching link and read:
What must you do to be born again.
The first and for most step that one must do is repent (turn from). You must step before The Lord God Almighty and repent of the sin that has separated you from God. "This action comes from an act of the Holy Spirit that convicts your heart of sin and presses upon you to confess that you have not understood nor had relationship with Him.
You do not need any understanding at this point except that which the Holy Spirit has laid upon you as to your relationship toward God.
There; no one can intervene. This is between you and the One that created you.
Now, after repenting, you must be baptised in water! After being obedient to that command you can see the Kingdom of God and confess your faith upon entering the Kingdom.
It is upon the one sent by God to guide you into spiritual understanding after you have entered the Kingdom of God by repentance.
You now need to receive the Holy Spirit that was given unto you by the Lord Jesus - to those who obey.
Be obedient and be baptised in the Spirit.
It is at that point that you can mature as you grow in the Lord.
Here, is where Scripture can reveal to you -your place and inheritance in the Lord.
The Lord's name in English is Jesus. His office is Messiah which in the Greek is given as Christ - meaning Anointed One.
This Anointing that was poured upon Him was the Holy Spirit which was given from God upon His baptism from a man named John the Prophet in a land called Judea.
Although this account happened more than two thousand years ago, we (those who proclaim His name and fellowship under that Anointing) read in Scripture (the Bible) that Jesus gave command to His followers at that time that they should wait for the Holy Spirit from on high (Heaven) till they would be endued with power and authority from God. This was to happen after His death, burial and ressurrection from the grave.
He promised that He would not leave them comfortless. That He would be with them till the end of this world.
It is clear that He (Jesus) did not only mean those standing there with Him as He spoke. His words are clear! Which are:
Jhn 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
This Holy Spirit is upon this earth in present time. The Comforter, the Gift, the Holy Spirit has not changed and has not relinquished power to the believer in any manner of gift that was given to any believer past nor present. God is no respecter of persons, even in this modern age!
There are denominations that would refute this and preach that in fact God has changed His plan under the label - grace dispensation.
They seek out those whom they can bring under their theology. They believe that all men sin even after knowing the Lord. That sin is part of the 'nature' that belongs to mankind. Their theology explains away Scripture and some even are dogmatic about the translation of Scripture which keeps other uneducated individuals and groups (not speaking and/or reading Hebrew and Greek) under fear of being deceived.
Paul stated that it was not of 'letter' but of 'spirit' that one even in the line of genealogy was in relationship to God. But yet many argue over the letter and look not unto the spirit of which our God sees.
Jesus now calls for man to return unto God. That calling comes from the Holy Spirit through the Word of God (the Scriptures). That calling comes through individuals that are called to fulfill the office in which He has called them to walk out upon this earth from training in the Word and the right hand of fellowship of other believers.
If you are reading and have questions concerning God. Your first step is repentance. Your reasoning (the use of your mind) will not get you any closer to the Creator! Unless you repent, you will remain dead to God and under His wrath!
If you would like to repent in the fellowship of a believer and begin your journey on this earth as a follower of Jesus the Messiah, use the contact link and someone will gladly write or call you back.
Scriptures says that faith comes from hearing the word of God and salvation comes from confessing that Jesus is Lord. (Romans 10:17; Romans 10:9)
