There is something that you will find out about Christianity as you grow in maturity.

Sadly, I must share that all that you see on the surface is not what you will find to be a reality in many who proclaim Jesus as Lord. Remember, many who proclaim to be mature are not. There will be times when you will be disappointed in other individuals due to their actions and views toward what you believe. What is important is not what they have obtained or what they have said, but it is what you receive from the Word of God. Beware of offence that can be taken due to another’s' actions and or the actions of a group of individuals who are proclaiming faith in the Lord.

Jesus said: " Woe unto the world because of offences for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! (Matt. 18:7)

The Apostle Paul said in front of Felix that "I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and men." (Acts 24:16)

Offence will come, but do not allow it to come through you! Keep the love of God before you so that the Spirit of God can deliver through you the Gospel of the Kingdom to others which is the power of salvation of which you yourself have received if you have received the call of God upon your life and have repented toward God turning from sin and allowing the Spirit of God to direct you in love.

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

What can you do today for God?

(Have you ever asked yourself that question?)

What you can truly do today for God is to not allow yourself to be deceived! Study your Bible and do what it says! Listen to the Spirit of God more so than you desire to talk. In time of prayer, finish your prayer and listen for the Lord to answer you. Do not pray and jump into life full throttle. If you are praying and not expecting an answer... my friend you have been duped by religion! God desires to show you many things and to guide you into what is best for you - not your neighbor! If you are always doing the talking, and not listening; you cannot blame the Lord for your faults in life. A relationship is not one sided. A relationship is between two and you and God make the majority!

Remember that without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God. And when you come to God in prayer you must first believe that He is, and you must believe that He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

To diligently seek God means as follows:

To seek out and search for with an emphasis on requiring something from. the word is ekzeteo in the Greek, and it is used for demanding rights and privileges. The understanding could be viewed as if one went to court and found within the law that an individual or group were due something according to their rights underneath the law. It then would be not on them to act toward receiving such but those of the law who carry out justice.

For us who are in the Kingdom of God who proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior, we have angels who minister toward us and carry out justice swiftly and are not hindered when the saint is standing by faith at the throne of God. Woe to anyone who stands against the saint of God when he or she not only knows but understands and has voiced their case to the Father.

Now, do you see the importance of knowing the written Word of God and the importance of listening to Him?

That is why it is written that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of God.

This is not a fable or some fairy tale that is designed to make you feel loved or in control of your life. This is true fellowship in the relationship of a child and their Father.

Make the choice today to receive from Him and reject the spirit of this world. Enter into the Kingdom of God and stand by faith.
