Receive The Gospel of the Kingdom

(1,4031 Received Christ from 01/10 thru 08/25/11)

What are YOU doing for the Kingdom?

Has the Lord spoke to your heart? Have you come to hear that calling from God asking for you to open up your heart and to listen to Him so that He may lead you in a life of peace? Here is a simple prayer that guide you in that step to open your heart toward the great relationship between God and man:

"Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my life and forgive me of all my sins. I confess my sins before You this day. And will continue to as the Your Spirit directs me. I denounce Satan and all his works. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life.  I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that You rose from the dead. I will turn from sin as I am taught by Scripture and the men and women that You put in my life to reveal Your truth to me. Write my name in the Lamb's book of life. I hear Your call upon my heart and I openly await Your leading. Send Your Spirit upon me so that I can live a life pleasing to You, in the name of Jesus, the Messiah of Israel. Amen."

Romans 10:9-10 If you confess with you mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation"

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

How Do I Receive The Baptism In The Holy Spirit?

You only have to do two things. First, once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior you just have to ask God to baptize you in the Holy Spirit. The Bible says, "Ask, and it shall be given to you" (Luke 11:9).

Second, believe you have in fact received this gift from God. The apostle Paul, writing to the Galatians, said, "Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing with faith?" (Galatians 3:2). The answer, obviously, is faith. You have to believe that if you ask, you will receive.

Pray this prayer out loud, and mean it with your whole heart if you sincerely desire to receive the baptism in God's Holy Spirit:

Heavenly Father, I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He has been raised from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. You said in Your Holy Word that You would give the Holy Spirit to those who ask. I'm asking You now to baptize me with the precious Holy Spirit, so that I may be a powerful witness of Your Son Jesus. I receive the Holy Spirit now! I expect to speak in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives me the utterance. I now receive every blessing You have for me in the mighty Name of Jesus! I pray that the Holy Spirit might come upon me. Lord Jesus, fill me now in the Holy Spirit. I receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit right now by faith in Your Word. May the anointing, the glory, and the power of God come upon me and into my life right now. May I be empowered for service from this day forward. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for baptizing me in Your Holy Spirit. Amen."

Now lift your hands, your heart and your voice and begin to praise Him as the Holy Spirit gives you utterance.

Benefits of Receiving the Holy Spirit’s Empowerment Daily

One of the benefits of being baptized in the Holy Spirit is being able to pray in tongues. Remember, you do the speaking and the Holy Spirit gives you the utterance. It is a language you have never learned before; it is the Holy Spirit praying through your spirit. It is a supernatural way of giving praise and thanksgiving to God through your spirit. It is a supernatural way of praying for yourself and others. As you learn to pray, praise and flow in the gift of tongues on a daily basis, the Holy Spirit enables you through this gift to receive many other Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:1-8)  (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)  (1 Corinthians 12:27-31) (Ephesians 4:7-11). The whole purpose of the baptism in the Holy Spirit is to equip you to be a powerful witness for the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8)! Get ready, you are going to be used in such a powerful way for God's Glory! You may pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit’s Power and Gifts over and over, daily or as you feel the need for a fresh outpouring of power to serve God.
