How society reacts to soul deprivity and lack of spirtual maturity.

There is a call upon this nation to look toward the true cause of the more than three million persons incarcerated in these United States of America. At three hundred million individuals in America, that is more than one percent of our population.
Here we will study the causes of incarceration. Monthly I will add to this page so that we may look at the truth behind the penial system, societies' idealology, and personal responsibility in any given community.
We all (who are mature) understand that there are many who have done and or are doing the crimes that are deemed incarceration offenses. They never got caught or have not yet been caught. But God sees the heart of a man or woman.
In saying as much, we must look at how society looks at right and wrong.
Does the media (not reflecting righteousness) play a pivital role with negativity in the mentallity of society toward moral values that continue the family structure in a given community?
We have all heard the blame given to Rock N Roll and violent television programing and about all that comes out of Hollywood in direct connection to crimes committed. Even individuals that promote such media have been taken to court do to another individual's actions. But what is it with this type of media that spurns others to point toward Hollywood? Is it that they are saying that if one keeps company with Hollywood that they will become corrupt?
Society as a whole likes to point toward others to identify evil. America pointed towards Germany as evil and yet Germans now have become Americans. The same is true of Japanesse, China, and now Middle Eastren men and women. But when they identify with our values they become non-demonized. But what are our values as Americans? If anything they seem to be so blindly composed in a document that reads:
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America..."
So how is it that we stray so far in corruption and apprehend vise that leads to our own destruction individually and risks the destruction of our corporate whole?
It is beyond the media created or the actions of others. Ideas of bigetry and hatred were formed long ago and only take differant form and are channelized toward yet another.
The family structure is by far the greatest social impact upon an individual. Depending on how that structure was reconized in the soul during child development years is how it will be re-created in further generations.
But what comes against this structure that has had so much influance upon mankind for thousands of years?
Idealism stemming from variations of social classes that have grown from individuals coming from a broken family structure.
Your mother would not have desired for you as a young man to have been reading Playboy, for various reasons of morality, but one reason was how the female is portrayed in such litature. Thus the women loses the status of respect in the family structure. Now mental strongholds will be built within the boy/man that sees the female figure as a sex object raither than compaionship and the hope of a future mate in re-creating the family structure of one's youth.
The argument of many is that it is a hormonal thing that is wraped in curiosity and that it is the sowing the seeds of youth.
But the Bible is clear on this issue. For the whole aspect of curbing the desires of the flesh and preparing a youth for adulthood is not a book subject but raither a family subject that comes out of that family structure and is one of the highest forms of spiritual discipleship.
In these days the Church is expected to correct years of neglect in the individual; which sets the aspect of maturity in the House of God back generations.
We as ministers are bound by teaching moral issuses raither than spiritual truths.
Then there is the fact that due to this type of ministerial prosess in the Church for the last several generations, the majority of professing Christians now see Christianity as a religion of morality. And we label movements like the 'Moral Majority' and 'Christian Coalition'. Not that these movements are bad, but that we seek one thing yet do another.
A presidental canidate said it very well during a speach in 2006, he said; "if we get rid of all other people ( of differant religions ) except Christians, whos Christianity will we follow, whos' will we teach our children?"
Some times we get so caught up in the day to day that we forget the words that are written in the Bibles we posess. We are called to seek the Kingdom! And not only the Kingdom but also the Father's righteousness.
This is said to those who already had a good understanding about kingdomship and how individuals and families act within a kingdom. There were great benifits to living in a kingdom that was for the people and subjects that served that kingdom.
In America the Bible is preached in a nation that has no understanding of what a kingdom is. As a matter of fact, very few Americans could explain what a republic was of which this country was founded, although not seen nor viewed by many of the officals that are in office in this present age.
So when we look at an individual that is incarcerated in these United States of America we need to understand that some wires were crossed in that individual's understanding even on the social level. And that to approach one incarcerated with spiritual truths that would bring them toward repentance of the actions (sins) that they have commited; does not nessarly give them all of what they need to become productive members in the American society. You can love the Lord yet still not have the emotional fortitude to deal with what the media portrays as success and the reality of five to six days a week of working for an income that in itself does not reveal future rewards.
Kingdom teaching is a basic princible that our Lord understood those that He was speaking to could understand. Reward was not on the individual level but on society as a whole. The people gained freedom by hierarchy. And Jesus explained that His Father was the seated postion above all hierarchy in this Kingdom. And knowing His character, reward was understood.
The United States is alone among the Western democratic nations in increasing its use of incarceration. During one recent five-year period the prison and jail population jumped by 200,000 inmates. Only South Africa kept pace with that increase at a time when all other Western industrial nations were systematically reducing prison populations. The U.S. trend, of course, has resulted in overcrowding and a demand for larger state and federal corrections budgets to build more prisons and jails. (Robert A. Fangmeier)
