of Jesus the Messiah
before His crucifixion
- Jesus was a Jew
- Jesus was sent to 'the lost sheep of Israel'
- Jesus' earthly ministry had nothing to do with 'the Assembly of Gentiles'
- Jesus only detoured from this mission because of Faith
Jesus did not come to the righteous. He came to save that which was lost! So in saying that, there were those that were around that were righteous; and there were those that were around that were lost.
Remember the Remnant!
Jesus came to fulfill all righteousness and He did this by being identified by John the baptizer's ministry. This identification came by the announcement that Jesus was the Messiah, that this individual coming out of this water is the one approved by God to save His people.
Mark 1:9-11
And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
And there came a voice from heaven, [saying], Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
And immediately the Spirit drives him into the wilderness.
And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
The answer of faith is not in respect of any individual or influence of ethnic nor social identification. Faith is! What moves God is faith - the faith of God. The faith of God that is given to every individual ever born that has heard His Word.
We Have A Work To Do
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Is.55:8-9
This was the Bible verse of the day on a Christian web site. And as I read, into my spirit came the understanding that many Christians view this as talking to them. It is so quickly put out as a blanket for all to see God as a mysterious God. But to the believer, God is not mysterious! There may be much to learn for someone who has just come into relationship with Him; however, He is not mysterious. Upon discipleship of the believer, the knowledge and understanding of God forms in the heart of the believer. Once formed, we do not grope in the dark for our God. For we then have the mind of the Messiah. And we are counted as a son or daughter of the Living God; of which we now call Father.
I am finding it more and more so that the vast majority of believers have not experienced the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. For they do not really know the mind of the Messiah. They fight daily with the afflictions of the flesh and spirit so that they cannot function in the call upon which the Lord has called them.
Take the identity of the believer. In ministering to the needs of others I have found that certain doctrines hold men and women in a state of having no identity at all. Many of the first words that are formed are about the various problems that they are facing in life. Looking at these problems, they are due to various sins of the flesh and spirit, from which there is a the lack in spiritual direction of the Holy Spirit bringing about the situations and circumstances that they find themselves in. Then when you began to minister to them; they bring up these doctrines that are so instilled in their minds that they do not, nor will they, accept what the Lord's direction is for them.
Why would someone put forth Isaiah 55:8-9 and not also include 1 Corinthians 2:6-16. I know, for I understand the theological ideology that directs their minds to do so. However, we as mature believers do have the mind of the Messiah for we have received the gift of the Messiah.
The Definition of Theology-
The rational and systematic study of religion and its influences and of the nature of religious truth
The learned profession acquired by specialized courses in religion (usually taught at a college or seminary)
Can you see Paul going into a theology institute?
Now I am full aware of the travel that he did to come to Peter and the apostles (yet he only saw James). But what was his words concerning this? "But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed [to be somewhat] in conference added nothing to me:" Galatians 2:6
I have heard some say to this; 'Well, no one is like Paul' So, is that to state that ever since the time of the Apostles (and Paul was not one of the original ones) that the knowledge of God has decreased? That would be saying that the Spirit of which Paul had does not communicate the same now as it did then.
I know this to be a lie of the devil!
Leading up to and since 1511 there has transpired a great gulf in the leadership of the Church of the Living God. Now some one hundred and eighty five denominations exist and fight like dogs in some back alley.
The Lord God is Holy! Holy is His name.
We are to be holy as our Lord God is holy. And this is brought about by the presence of the Holy Spirit of the Living God who clothes us in His glory so that we have the armor of the Living God upon us in this battle of faith that we as believers are called to partake of.
We are to crucify ourselves daily so that we can pick up our cross and serve a Living God who empowers us to live and to live abundantly. Woe to those who belittle the call to be mere profession and shrink from the work of the Kingdom of God.
Stepping out in faith is verbally halted by self-righteous concerns from those who have little or no faith; and is mocked by the excursions and limitations of some tele-evangelist who statistically speaking, have not fallen as much as many of the denominational leaders in modern age.
Still today the voice of the Lord calls out to those who have received the call upon their heart asking them not to harden their hearts but to act out in faith (that is, combining faith with the Word of the Living God) in serving the Living God. A God of love and compassion; with mercy crying out covered by the blood of the Lamb for all to fellowship with the Living God by the Spirit of God that was given to us as a gift so that we may walk as the Messiah walked upon this earth!
Praise the Lord God Almighty!
Give thanks to the Lord and enter into the gate where the sacrifice of praise can be proclaimed; stepping into the Holiest of Places where we can worship a Holy, Holy God.
There are hurting people in this world, yet we crack open before them the coffins of theology and offer them enlightenment and human reasoning of men long since dead instead of introducing them to a Living God who so much wanted to fellowship with them that He gave His only begotten Son to suffer at the hands of men who entertained the same rational as professing crypt keepers of this modern age. Who proclaim Mark 16:17-18 to read:
"And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will name demons and assign therapy to those who suffer at their authority; they will communicate to others in different languages; they will pick up hard chores that will be burdensome; and when they hear deadly doctrines they will not affect them; they will place their hands upon sick people and will pray for the will of God upon their lives."
Shame has come about as a cloud upon the Church of the Living God. Where the fore fathers of the United States of America so boldly proclaimed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident"; we as the members of the Church of the Living God should stand up and proclaim that we hold the truth of the Spirit of God to be self evident in the life changing power of God upon man. This gift laid upon man so as to bring about the proclamation of the Gospel in power and authority. As the words recorded in Scripture proclaim: "When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men."
Stand up in the faith that has been given to you from God freely by His favor so that you may proclaim the Kingdom of God! For here is the Kingdom of the Living God before every individual upon the face of this earth to step into and take his or her authority so that they may stand. And when they have done all, able to stand their ground; still they stand!
The violent and sexually filled media of today should be abandoned; and the local fire marshals should be called to hospitals, and nursing homes, and prisons for breach of over capacity due to the labor of love by fellow Christians everywhere upon those in institutions.
God is alive and is seeking those who would be moved by His Spirit; for the labors are few. Yes, the labors are few! May God be true and every man a liar to the favor of God.
If you would, allow a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit to over take you to perform your duty of service unto the Lord. Fall upon your knees and do not get up until He raises you to the work that is set before you in this short time before our Lord appears.
